Dr. Abdelhak Senadjki

Dr. Abdelhak Senadjki is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Business and Finance, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. He obtained his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2013 with a thesis title ‘Vulnerability to Poverty: A Study of Rural Population in Kelantan and Terengganu, Malaysia’. He received his Masters of Economic Management in 2008 from the same Universiti and Bachelor Degree of Economics in 2003 from University of Algiers. He was awarded the USM fellowship from 2010 to 2013 and has served as an academic researcher for that period. His research interests include Energy Economics, Economic Development focusing on the issues of Income Inequalities, Poverty and Vulnerability, Poverty in Islamic Economics, Risks, Risk Management and Coping Strategies and Social Protection. Dr. Abdelhak Senadjki has involved in various research grants namely Risks, Risk Management and Households’ Vulnerability to Poverty: A Case Study of Rural Communities in Kelantan and Terengganu, Malaysia ; Development of Vulnerability and Poverty Model of Rural Households in Perlis, Kelantan and Terengganu; The Welfare of Elderly: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow; Closing the Coverage Gap for Old Age Protection in Malaysia: The Case for Universal Pension; Spatial Inequalities: Framing Phenomena, Formulating Policies; Relationship between the Bio-Ethanol Production and Agricultural Commodity Prices: The Case of Thailand; Behind the Scenes: The Bad and Ugly Side of Modern Technology on Malaysian Youth and Development of Model Procedure to Detect Housing Bubble: A Study of Malaysian Property Market”. Dr. Abdelhak Senadjki has published widely in various local and international refereed journals; Scopus, chapters in book and research papers on the issues of poverty, vulnerability and social protection. He is currently an Editor-in-Chief for the Quarterly Journal of Econometrics Research; a member of the Advisory Board for the Market Forces Journal and reviewer for a number of refereed journals such as the Journal of Environmental and Resource Economics, Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research. Topic: Epistemology: The gate to factual exploration

Dr. Sabah Sabbah holds a BA degree in English Language Literature, a 2-year Diploma and a Master Degree in TEFEL, and a Ph.D. in English Language Curriculum and Instruction. She got her MA and Ph.D. from the University of Jordan and Yarmouk University, with excellence and honor. She attended intensive courses-120-hour each- in the American Embassy, the British Council, Queen Rania Institute of Educational Technology, University of Nottingham, on utilizing Brain Theory in teaching, ESL Differentiation, Instructional Technology, the Implication of Personality Temperaments Theory on teaching, Classroom Management, Intel 1 and 2, Thinking tools, and many others. She worked as a teacher of English in secondary schools, a pre-service and in-service ESL teachers trainer, a supervisor of ESL institutions and schools, a curriculum designer and evaluator, an ESL-tests writer, a chairperson of an ESL center, an assistant professor in Jordan and Saudi Arabia universities, where she taught the fourth year literature courses, such as Shakespeare, introduction to Literary Terms, Introduction to Poetry, Romantic Poetry, 18th Century British Fiction, American Literature, Criticism, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, Advanced Writing, Research Methodology, and many others. She was appointed as a trainer in the Focus group of ERfKE-Educational Reform of Knowledge Economy. While working at the Ministry of Education and at Universities, Dr. Sabah was appointed as a member of the Ad Hoc Committee for recruiting supervisors and English Language and Literature Faculty. She also worked as a chairperson of many university committees, such as the Assessment Committee, the Curriculum Committee, and the Professional Development Committee. Dr. Sabah is now teaching in CCQ English Language Foundation Program. Dr. Sabah published papers in International Refereed Journals and two books on teaching English Pedagogy and English composition. She is now working on four research papers on psycholinguistics. She reviewed books on teaching and psycholinguistics. Dr. Sabah presented papers in seminars and conferences: in Innovations 2014 Conference in Los Angeles, TESOL conferences in Qatar for the years 2013-2017, in 2014, TESOL Arabia, in 2016 International Journal of Arts and Science Conference in Las Vegas, and in 2017 Global Association for Humanities and Social Sciences Research conference in Lisbon, Portugal
